Meet the President of the International Criminal Court

The ICC, which is headquartered in The Hague in The Netherlands, is the first and only permanent international court with jurisdiction to prosecute individuals for the international crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression.

This event offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the court and the background to why this court is important in order to bring justice and halt war crimes from being committed. The key speaker is professor Piotr Hofmański, a Polish jurist who is the current President of the International Criminal Court as of March 2021.
