Event summary: The first webinar in a SLU series about climate change. The first conversation springs from the launch of the sixth assessment report by the IPCC.

In 2021 and 2022, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will present its sixth assessment report, and SLU takes the launch as an opportunity to discuss the current scientific knowledge about climate change in a series of conversations. This first webinar sets its focus on future land use, a topic where SLU holds diverse and unique competences, and points towards ways forward incorporating cross-disciplinary approaches.

The introduction will include a brief presentation of the sixth IPCC assessment report AR6 Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis, followed by four keynote presentations, a panel discussion and an open floor discussion.
