The Relevance of Development Studies

On 22 November 2024, the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI) is organizing an event at the International Institute of Social Studies (The Hague, Netherlands), on the relevance of development studies.
The event will be showcasing the essential role of Development Studies in addressing global challenges. PhD candidates and early-career researchers from Dutch EADI member institutions will present their work to representatives from government, civil society, and the private sector, highlighting insights from the Global South that can inform Dutch policies in urban development, sustainability, immigration, and scientific knowledge.
